We begin the Days of Solidarity with People Suffering from Mental Illness with the ‘Fete for Understanding’ which will take place on Pl. Kuracyjny next to the pier.
The aim of the event is to draw attention to the challenges faced by people experiencing mental crises and to try to address damaging stereotypes with a campaign entitled ‘Change Your Mind.’
The event begins with Holy Mass at the church of St. Jerzy at 11 on Sunday (September 15).
The fete begins at Pl. Kuracyjny at 12, where at 1pm there will be a symbolic event called ‘Door to Understanding’
From 1.30pm there will be outdoor concerts and exhibitions aimed at improving understanding through art.
In the programme you’ll find:
Cafe y Son - Latin rhythms
Krzysztof Nawrocki – the gentle sound of cymbals
Heart or Mind - tug of war
A Tri-city Information Point which will offer psychological counselling, career counselling, presentations of support for individuals and families in the Tri-city and an artistic zone for children and adults.
